I do not do many post with no data to back me up but I am making an exception in this case. Today's morning newspaper had a big article in the business section about Yahoo and all the services that it has decided to shutter down. And one of them was Yahoo Clues. For those who do not know what this was, it was Yahoo's answer to Google Trends. I have been following it for some time and knew that new data was not being refreshed. So, kind of saw it coming. But now its official. They did have some good features that Google Trends should replicate. Gender based segmentation, source of traffic etc are some of them. Anyway, on a sad note we can now officially kiss Yahoo Clues service goodbye. RIP.
